Hyundai has been a sponsor of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) since 2007.  The CBCF is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy, research and educational institute that aims to help improve the socioeconomic circumstances of African Americans and other underserved communities.  Hyundai supports various CBCF activities and programs including the CBCF Congressional Internship Program and the Annual Legislative Conference.

In 2012, Hyundai was a corporate sponsor of the 42nd Annual Legislative Conference that provided attendees access to 80 issues forums, sessions and brain trusts which offered opportunities for meaningful dialog and solution development to the critical issues impacting the African American community across the country.

Hyundai was also the title sponsor of the CBCF VIP Black Party Celebration which was held on September 21, 2012 at the Howard Theater in Washington DC.
